Our Thanksgiving consisted of a fast trip to South Carolina...
We headed to Blackville and got to spend a handful of minutes with Joel and Staci, went to see his Grandpa in the nursing home, and on to have supper with the Kanagys where Travis' family was. The holiday was spent at Steve & Christy's, with Steven's and Dave there too! Wish I'd have more pics but anyway...
You can pretty much plan on playing Settlers when our family gets together! Steve's even had an extension.
Friday after we left Abbeville, we were just getting good and started (and I was hoping for a nice long nap) when we had this 2 hour delay.
Thankfully these 2 guys that were working on the road stopped by and were very helpful. Would've definately taken longer without them. Too make a long story short they went into town and got a new tire. I'm just glad it didn't happen when Anita, Christy, and I were out earlier by ourselves shopping! 
Right now I miss the weather down there... doesn't wanna stop snowin and blowin here.

Life the last while = Work at the der, camping, work at home, more camping, a fast trip to pa, some gardening, watching the guys play softball, grocery shopping and running errands, many trips to the chiropractor, an anwesome trip to tx, and much more...
Tx. was definatly a highlight! The whole family hadn't been together since our wedding last year... the 4 days there flew by, but it was well worth it! Pretty much spent all our time at Mom and Dad's and Steven's. And made good use of Dave and Monica's pool! (How sad is it when your nieces and nephews can swim better than you?
)And here we all are.

From here...
... to a year later
Okay it's been 2 whole weeks since our anniversary, obviously a little late in updating.
Marriage has definately been an adventurous ride!! Lessons learned, changes, adjustments, highs and lows, fun times, and on I could go! I won't start writing all the character traits of my man, let's just say he's the best.
On our anniversary w-end we went to 2 weddings in Kentucky on Saturday, and then celebrated our anniversary Sunday and Monday in Cincinnati. Mainly relaxed, walked downtown awhile, went thru a "Taste of Cincinnati" Fair (that was swarming with people), and of course had a great time!
In April we had earned a trip to Cedar Point with the company Travis' works with, so last night we finally went. There were 12 of us, great times! I've never been there let alone be on a roller coaster! The first two I chickened out on. (Not into being twisted around and upside down, of course they had to do the biggest rides first!) Well the third one I gave in and that was the first and last of the night! Being dropped down 240 feet is NOT for me. Witnesses could easily tell I was scared stiff. Eventually we got rained out so I never made it on some small rides that might have broken me in a little!
The best news of the week is that Steven and Anita and the kids are coming this w-end. Definately excited about that! Till next time...

Had a great week in Texas!!! Beautiful sunshine, wildflowers are out, time with friends and family, and more! Am so glad I could help my sister and her family out...
Couldn't help but fall in love with this little guy
Oh the things you learn with 4 children in the house. You never know what they'll come up with next, can get quite comical!
And here's what I came back home too.
